Giving Back to the Community with Pilates
In the past I’ve taught Pilates classes and private sessions for fundraising efforts. Recently one of my clients mentioned how things have changed with fundraising in this time. She is a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Nashville. We decided to get together and I’m teaching a class to raise money for the cause. The LLS of Nashville has been helping the community specifically during this time by providing a Covid-19 financial aid program for blood cancer patients.
Join me on Wednesday 4/29 for an online group Pilates class to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Nashville. This class is for students of all levels and you are welcome to join even if you’ve never taken Pilates before. All you need is an exercise mat or two bath towels if you don’t have a mat and one more bath towel to use during the workout. You can look forward to a safe and effective workout no matter your level of experience.
This class will be held online over Zoom on Wednesday 4/29 at 5:30 PM CDT and will be recorded for participants that are not able to make it to the live class. I hope you can make it! You can sign up here. Click here for questions.
About the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Nashville
Dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary (nonprofit) health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.
Since 1949, we’ve invested nearly $1.3 billion in groundbreaking research, pioneering many of today’s most innovative approaches. We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. And we are making an impact in the cancer community.
